Relevant Experience
Seven years with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
First as a Patent Examiner and then as a Primary Patent Examiner,
Mr. Larson examined patent applications on technologies such
as gas and steam turbines and components, pumps, helicopters,
and wind turbines.
Practice Areas
Jim practices general Intellectual Property law with an emphasis
on patent procurement and strategy, post-patent issuance practice
including reissues and reexaminations (ex parte and inter
partes), patent novelty, infringement and validity opinions,
and client counseling. Technology practice areas include mechanical
and electromechanical fields.
